Asset Model Update - September 2024

Asset Models for the following Industrial Control Systems (ICS) have been released. For a complete list of enhancement/fixes, please refer to the product Release Notes.

Asset Models Released and/or Updated:

Siemens TIA Portal v1.2.0.1

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Added support for SCL file parsing.
  • Enhancement of support for Siemens S7-1200 / ET200SP control systems.
  • Modified XPS file parsing code.
  • Fixed the import errors that prevented completion of the import cycle for data collected through automated collection and not displaying on the web page.
  • Fixed the import errors for Siemens TIA Portal v17 dataset.
  • New Data Collection is NOT REQUIRED when upgrading to this new version of the asset model from the previous version.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL NOT BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model release.

Emerson Ovation v4.0.0.2

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Optimization of Asset Model for inventory-only import purposes.
    • Added Asset property Inventory Only Import in the asset model that allows the import of inventory-only information.
  • Modified the OvationDCC to enable read and write to an INI file.
  • Created an Ovation standard VB script for reading saved entries from an INI file.
  • Expanded Ovation I/O RModule description lookups.
  • Modified data validation code to include a check for correct data file content and Import-Only option.
  • New Data Collection is REQUIRED when upgrading to this new version of the asset model from the previous version.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL NOT BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model release.

Siemens S7 400 v2.10.0.1

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Developed a new Data Collection Configurator.
  • Optimization of Asset Model for inventory-only data collection and import purposes.
    • DCC allows for inventory-only data collection.
    • Added Asset property Inventory Only Import in the asset model that allows the import of inventory-only information.
  • Fixed an issue with unwanted numbers displayed in the order number.
  • Fixed an issue with import not completing.
  • Fixed import errors.
  • New data collection is NOT REQUIRED when upgrading to this new version of the asset model from the previous version.
    • If data collection needs to be optimized for inventory-only collection and imports, only a new collection script is required.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL NOT BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model release.

Siemens T3000 v3.0.0.1

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Optimization of Asset Model for inventory-only import purposes.
  • Added Asset property Inventory Only Import in the asset model that allows the import of inventory-only information.
  • Added new property Firmware Version to the Module object type, so that it displays correctly in inventory.
  • New Data Collection is NOT REQUIRED when upgrading to this new version of the asset model from the previous version.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model release.
